01LOT Academy is operated by 01LOT Markets Ltd., registered in England and Wales (Company No. 14817392). Our registered office is 5 Bishopsgate, Floor 14, London EC2N 3AR. (Verify this matches your Companies House record before publishing more widely.)
2. What we provide
Online educational content — video lessons, written lessons, quizzes, optional live cohort classes, certificates of completion, and direct messaging with instructors. We are an education business. We are not a broker, dealer, custodian, or investment adviser. Nothing in any lesson constitutes financial advice.
3. Account eligibility
You must be 18 or older. The academy is open to learners worldwide. We do not currently age-gate at signup, but we may close accounts found to belong to minors.
4. Your account
You are responsible for keeping your credentials private. We will never ask for your password. Notify us at security@01lot.com if you suspect a compromise.
5. Pricing
Every course on 01LOT Academy is currently free. Free courses unlock a full set of lessons, an automatic completion certificate, and a public profile of earned credentials.
When we begin offering paid courses or cohort programmes, we will publish a refund policy on this page and email you about the change. The standard pattern we plan to offer is a 30-day, full-refund, no-questions window from the first paid charge, processed via a button in your dashboard.
6. Educational disclaimer
Trading and investing carry risk. You can lose more than you deposit. Past performance — instructor or student — is not indicative of future results. Examples in our courses use historical or hypothetical data; live execution involves additional friction (spread, slippage, fees, latency) not always reflected in the lesson.
7. Certificates
Our certificates are issued by 01LOT Markets Ltd. and are not equivalent to any government-issued professional licence or industry credential. Each certificate has a public serial visible at /certificates/<serial> for anyone to verify the authenticity. We do not currently issue certificates with continuing-education credit value.
8. Acceptable use
You may not redistribute, resell, scrape, or use academy content to train a machine learning model without our written consent. You may use lesson takeaways in your own trading, writing, or teaching.
9. Affiliate / referral program
We track referrals: every account has a unique referral code (visible on your affiliate dashboard) and we record every signup attributed to that code, plus the first-enrolment conversion. Today this tracking is reputation-only — no monetary payouts are made because all courses are free.
We will publish revenue-share terms here when paid courses launch. Self-referrals and fraudulent traffic will disqualify the affiliate and forfeit any accumulated balance once payouts begin.
10. Termination
We may suspend or terminate accounts for repeated terms violations (sharing credentials, scraping, abusive behaviour toward staff or instructors). Where paid features exist, fees will be refunded pro-rata if we terminate without cause.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Disputes resolved in the courts of London.
12. Changes
We post changes here with the date at the top. Material changes (introduction of paid courses, refund window, affiliate payouts) are notified by email at least 30 days in advance.
